Tahari Goes Safari for Spring/Summer 2011
On many occasions in the past years Elie Tahari has suffered from trying to be too trendy. Now he has returned to his trademark and what he does best; making timeless pieces for women. In his Spring/Summer 2011 collection Tahari successfully coalesced safari chic, New York chic, and women's sportswear into a striking collection. Aside from what is shown here were beautiful tailored trousers, corsets under jackets, and some black was put into the collection for the New Yorkers.

Pretty little People
The stylists of ABC's hit TV show Pretty Little Liars has put the cast in Free People clothes two weeks in a row. Although the brand's target audience is for boho-chic teens and young adults, the show promoting the clothes for an eclectic audience. As seen below the illusive and edgy Aria wears a Free People Burnout Dress while the outgoing and innocent Hannah wears the Free People Liberation Slub Miss Mossy Top. Notice how the model is similar to Aria with her dark hair, and Hannah is similar to the model with her blonde hair and fair skin. Looks like the stylists did their homework!
Copy Cats? Roger That!
Splurging on shoes, handbags, and jewelry is necessary because cheap looking accessories deter the quality of your outfit...bummer!
HOWEVER...
The copy cats have cleaned up their acts in this case!
The Miu Miu Patchwork T-strap Wedges (first) have met their match. Madden (middle) and Mia (bottom) are copying the look for less. The Mia sandals are without stitching on the center strap connecting to the ankle strap and their coloring is lighter, while the Madden shoes are without stitching on the wedge. Ignoring these diminutive differences the three are triplets!
HOWEVER...
